Why do you wear make up?

Hey lovely people! I'm sorry that I haven't posted in what feels like months but as you all know I've started sixth form and, although I haven't had that much work yet, my mind has been elsewhere so unfortunately this site I call my blog has taken a bit of a back seat. Anyway, today I thought I'd do the why I wear make up tag as it's a fairly simple post to write. So onto the questions!

1. When did you begin loving make up?
It's hard to say really. My mum isn't really the type to wear make up everyday. Of course she has a few bits and bobs but her and my sister only wear it on a special occasion. When I was younger I had a few bits of cheapy, children's sets and things like that but it wasn't til later that I really started loving it. I believe it was year 7 when I first started which, when I think about it, is really young and younger than I had thought! It was when the sexy curves mascara came out and I asked my mum for it. I got that and started wearing it on the odd occasion. I think I started getting bad skin in the end of year 7 so I used to take some powder that my mum had lying around and wear that. It wasn't til year 8 that I started wearing my eyeliner. I had some coloured eye liner but asked for some black eye liner for that christmas. I started wearing that and then somehow it snowballed into wearing foundation, mascara and eye liner everyday. I liked make up but I didn't really love it yet. When I was having a hard time a few years back, my sister showed me Youtube. She showed me a girl called Kiva (littlekiva123) and the famous Pixiwoo. She showed me some really cool make up looks they had done and I was hooked. I watched Youtube constantly that summer and the rest is history. So I guess my answer is my love for make up started when I found Youtube. My love for Youtube is a whole different post on it's own!!

2. How do you feel without make up?
I don't really know how to describe it. I guess weird. It's not like I feel utter rubbish without it but I just don't feel like me. Also, it depends where I am. I've gone to school a couple of times without foundation but I could never go without eye liner and mascara. Whereas I would never go to things outside of school without the full monty. I go to St. John's Ambulance and none of them have ever seen me without my full face of make up.

3. What do you like about make up?
I know it's cliche but I like how make up can give you a whole different identity. You can be anyone you want and you can look anyway you want. I also like how it can enhance your natural features like if you have the right colour to make your eyes stand out or the right shade to suit your complexion.

4. Three 'holy grail' items.
This is pretty easy for me actually haha.
Avon supershock gel eye liner in black,
Maybelline one by one volume express mascara in black,
And finally Rimmel stay matte pressed powder in 001 transparent. I would've put a foundation as number 3 but I haven't really found one I love so I tend to buy a different one every time I run out.

So why do YOU wear make up?

Outfit Numero 2 | old friends

Hey lovely people! I thought I would do an outfit post today from the weekend! I stayed over a friends on Saturday and then on Sunday we went to meet up with a friend who is in a boarding school in England. Every 4 weeks he has 4 days at home apart from holidays. We only ended up being there for about 30 minutes but ah well it was good to see him. :)
So onto the outfit...

As you know, if you live in Britain, it is very cold at the moment! Brrrrr. On Saturday I went to Primark and picked up a few jumpers (an autumn must!)- this being one of them.
As you can see, I wore it with a white vest top underneath and my leather jacket on the top. I also wore my jeans and my trusty lace ups. The jumper is this petrol-blue colour and has brown suede type elbow patches. The only bad thing about this is that it is rather itchy - booo!:( That can be solved by wearing a long sleeved top underneath though so that's no problem I just didn't want to be too hot and not be able to change.

The white vest top and jeans are from Tesco. I tend to get my basics from there or Sainsbury's like jeans, plain tops and school trousers. Ooh and leggings! The jumper, as I said, is from Primark and was £14 so not too bad. The leather jacket is from New Look this season and was around £40. My lace ups are from Crocs. Now I know what you're thinking - what?!?! But yes. They aren't obviously Crocs looking so it isn't that bad. I have been a fan of Converses since before they were popular. (Ooh hipster!) So for like 4 years? I own a number of pairs of converses (about 4) but for me, they aren't that comfortable after a while. But most people say they are more comfortable the more you wear them so I don't know. Anyway, my mum found these on the Croc website and they look a lot like Converses but they have the base of a Croc so are uber comfy. Also, Converses are long and skinny so make my feet look long but I don't know what it is about these but they make my feet look quite small - always a plus! They were a bit expensive at around £40 but isn't that how much Converses are? I got all mine for like £20 each from TKMaxx and various places like that.

Anyway, here's a photo without the jacket and shoes.
You can see the colour of the jumper a lot better in this picture along with the pattern and suede elbow patches. Sorry for the dirty mirror and the grumpy face haha. I was concentrating. I am borrowing my Grandpa's camera for a while to get a feel as I am going to be getting my own dslr soon to help with my coursework and what not. That's where the camera's from but I soon will hopefully have a different one.

Have you bought any new autumn clothes recently?

Everyday makeup!

Hey lovely people! It's finally letting my use photos (yay!!) so I thought I'd do my everyday make up routine type post. Just going to apologise in advance for the weird looking hair as it was wet in the first few photos haha.

As you can see I have very red cheeks and a number of spots. I get acne around my chin area. These are like the 2 main reasons I started wearing foundation. 1. My cheeks were really red and it was embarrassing and 2. It was the start of my teenage spots.

Here, I have applied my face make up. Primer, foundation, concealer and powder.
This is after I applied my eye make up as well.
Then this is when my hair had dried as well haha.

I apply the L'oreal Studio Secrets Professional Anti-Redness primer using my hands then apply and Avon SuperShock gel eyeliner onto my water line while I'm waiting for it to dry. I apply 2 layers of the eyeliner and then use the ELF concealer brush (small black one below) to press Urban Decay eyeshadow in Zero on top of it to make it stay on longer. I then squirt 1 pump of the L'oreal Infallible foundation in 15 porcelain onto the back of my hand, dot it around my face then used the Real Techniques buffing brush to blend it in.

I then dab the Collection (2000) Lasting Perfection concealer in 1 Fair onto problem areas like spots and one of my cheeks has more pigmentation in than the other so I dab a bit onto there.

I then use the Real Techniques stippling brush to stipple that in. I take the ELF powder brush, swirl it around in the Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder in 001 Transparent and press that all over my face. I then just add mascara. I used the Maybelline One by One Volume Express mascara in black. I really love this one as it adds volume and length into my lashes.

These are my essential/holy grail products. I don't really do much more than I have said unless it's a special occasion. This is really simple and takes me only 10 minutes or less which is really handy when you don't have loads of time to get ready in the morning like me. (unless you want to wake up super early!) Also, being in school means I don't wear any fancy lipstick or eyeshadow as the official school policy is 'subtle' make up but then again, I wouldn't really call mine subtle haha. Nobody has ever said anything to me though so perhaps they think I look better with it? haha.

Thanks for reading!
What's your essential products?

Noooo Photos :(

Hey lovely people! I know I haven't posted in ooh 3 weeks is it? and I was going to post an 'everyday make up routine' type post yesterday but for some reason it won't let me upload pictures. Sad face. I would do like a life update but honestly I haven't been doing much apart from going to school so that's out the window. I thought I would just check in though incase you thought I'd abandoned this blog. uuuh I don't know what else I can talk about that doesn't involve using pictures. :( I could write about school I suppose if that'd be interesting?

Well what can I say? If any of you didn't know I've gone back to the sixth form in my school. I am doing 4 subjects - English Literature, Media Studies, I.T and Biology. So far I am really enjoying them which is good! I haven't too much work surprisingly and when I have I've been uber organised and doing them on the same night. I don't really know what else to say haha. It's been a big change socially but still totally enjoying it!!

I think I'll just leave it at that as I don't want it to be long without having photos. :)

DVD haul | numero uno!

Hey lovely people! So I thought I'd just check in today as I haven't posted in a few days and tomorrow is my last day of holidays - waaah!:( I'm spending the last day with my bestest friend ever, having a good chat, then we're off to another friend's birthday meal in the night. (I feel like I've been to so many meals recently but I suppose that's what summer's for, hey!) I'm not too sure when I'll be able to post yet after Tuesday but as soon as I get a chance!

Anyway, I thought I'd just show you a few dvds that I have bought recently. When I say few I mean 4 haha. I really don't buy a lot at one time, I accumulate haha. Sorry for the dodgey photos as always!

Ok so, first off I got season 2 and 3 of One Tree Hill. I already had season 1 and I hope to get all of them!

I absolutely love One Tree Hill! I think the things that are said on there are inspiring as cringey as that sounds and the background music I feel is suited to me. I recieved these 2 seasons off my mum for a well done present for my results. If you haven't seen any of these you should check them out. It has ended now but there are re runs played on e4 in the mornings. I watched all the seasons on tv but haven't yet got around to watching these. These were bought off Play.com as that was the cheapest we found them and can be found here and here.

Finally there are these 2 dvds or should I say 4.

I found these in Sainsbury's whilst grocery shopping for £3 each (as you can see). Camp Rock is one of my many guilty pleasures but I am yet to buy the first one. When I saw this on the shelf I couldn't resist at that price! Now the 3 dvd set was an absolute steal as it works out at just £1 per dvd!! I've seen and read the books for The Time Traveller's Wife and My Sister's Keeper but not for The Notebook. I have, however, always wanted to see it as it's meant to be like the ultimate romance film or something. I realise these are all really sad but who doesn't love a good cry, ey? I might get my friend to watch The Notebook with me tomorrow as I'm sure we could both do with a good cry (especially being that there is school the next day)!

Have you seen any of these dvds? What did you think?

Back to School Supplies!

Hey lovely people! I apologise for not posting in 9 days I was visiting friends in the north of England and got back last night. I feel like I start all my posts apologising for something haha. Anyway, I thought I'd do a back to school supplies/what I've bought for the new school year kinda post. I can't believe how fast the Summer has gone but at the same time it feels like I've been off forevvveeer! Also, if you didn't know I am going into my first year of Sixth Form and that means it's time to get out my organisational skills - eeek!

I'll start with my school bag. In my school we tend to use backpack/rucksack type bags and get a new ones every year (well until the fashion of side bags). So this is my one for this year

It's from Animal but I can't find it on the site I bought it from or on Amazon - sorry! It's the Dakota backpack in White so you might be able to find it in the Animal shop or something. It was around £20 which is what I normally pay for my school bags as I think it's reasonable for a years worth of use. I still keep the bags after the year as a weekend or beach bag just incase you thought I wasted them or something haha. I prefer these backpack style bags as they distribute the weight evenly between your shoulders especially if you're carrying around A4 files full of work. That's the other thing I like is they are actually advertised as being able to carry A4 files in them and I can vouch that they do.

Next is my pencil case. I also get a new pencil case every year and most of the supplies. (Apart from the things that are still in good condition and pens.) This one is from Sainsburys and was £3.99ish but their school supplies are on buy one get one free at the moment. I normally jut get my pencil cases from Sainsburys as they're normally a good price compared to somewhere like WHSmiths and technically it works out cheaper with the free thing too.

I've put these in my pencil case already. The memory stick is a Kingston and I put it in the front pocket of the pencil case whilst the rest is in the back. I bought this memory stick last year for all my coursework and what not for GCSE but it is still useful for this year's work. The ruler is from Maped, the highlighters are from Stablo Boss and the glue is from Pritt. I bought these this year in the buy one get one free in Sainsburys. The sharpener is Maped also that I got last year but can still be brought and the pencil is a Zebra mechanical pencil. The pens I use for school are blue Bic medium point and the lighter one is Staedtler I believe. These are just the ones I prefer to use as I like blue biros better. I am yet to buy different coloured biros.

These are just the two folders I have bought already. Both are from Tesco and were resonably priced. The peacock feather one is a ring binder and the flamingo one is a lever arch file. I know for the subjects I have taken I am going to need these and will probably need more but I will get them when the time comes.

Also in the buy one get one free in Sainburys, I bought two packs of 200 polly pockets and these are just to put in my folders obviously.

Lastly, I have this purple papered Pukka Pad. This is just lined paper that's coloured purple if that wasn't obvious haha. I have something called irlen as it says on the cover which I'm not going to go into but if you have it you know haha or google it!(Also the reason all my posts have blue writing!) But anyway my mum wondered if these would help the size and state of my writing so ordered me a few as these are what she recommends in work. (Not sure where from - sorry!)

I start back on the 4th of September and am a little excited for the first day but probably won't be after that haha. When do you start back and what year are you going into?!

Thanks for reading!

What's in my bag?!

Hey lovely people! So I know I said I was going to post about my holiday but after thinking about it I decided not to for 2 reasons. Uno: it would be a suuuuuper long post and duo: who really wants to read me going on about my holiday, ey? Especially if it would be uber long. Anyway, I thought I'd do a 'what's in my bag' post as it's late on a Monday night and I felt like writing. Also, I really like watching these videos on YouTube as I'm nosy and as I don't do YouTube (I have actually filmed a few videos just never uploaded them) I thought I'd write a blog post showing you all what's in my bag.

Firstly, I'm just going to apologise for the photos as I don't have a fancy dancy camera so just took them on my little digital camera and the lighting is terrrrrrible! I took them at like 9 this evening with artificial light so don't judge! Also, I've tried to edit them a little bit to make the lighting look a bit better.

Here's my bag.

As you can see it's the one that everyone on youtube seems to have with the studs at the bottom. I got mine in this grey kind of colour. I would've normally gone for the black as I prefer black bags because I feel they're more neutral and don't show up dirt or anything. But, I already had a nice black bag and wanted something a bit lighter for the summer that wasn't white.

A little sneak peak as to what's inside!

First off, I have these bits and bobs. I have a mini Impulse True Love body spray(which I should've really photographed with the front up!), an inhaler, a Boots lipsalve, a Sephora lipgloss in frosty white reflex and 2 nail files. The inhaler and lipsalve I keep in the little pocket on the inside of the bag. The lipsalve really isn't that great but I was in Boots one day and decided to use the Soap&Glory Sexy MotherPucker lipgloss(obviously used my finger not the wand) - bad move! Just as a warning, don't ever use this when you have slightly chapped lips. My lips started buuuuurning! I didn't have any lipbalm/lipsalve on me so I had to buy this as it was the cheapest one. Anyway, I just keep that in there just incase anything similar ever happens. The smaller nail file is from a set from Boots I believe(they were a present) and the bigger one has a case and is from Sainsbury's. I needed a new nail file and saw the bigger one whilst food shooping with my mum. I thought the case was a really good idea to keep the file nice and tidy in my school bad as I had one before that the edges all frayed on. Obviously now that I'm not in school at the moment I threw it in my bag. The Sephora lipgloss was just something I threw in once when I was wearing it and the Impulse is just incase I smell - phwoar!

Next, I have 2 pairs of sunglasses. Now, I know what you're thinking! Holly, why do you need 2 pairs? Well, imaginary blog readers, why not? Basically, the top ones in the case are from Claire's about 2 years ago and were £4. I really love them and only ever wore those until I found the below ones in Primark this year for a £1. I keep the Claire's ones in my bag constantly in a case and always have just incase I'm out and have forgotten sunglasses then I was wearing the Primark ones and just threw them in. That's the basic answer! I liked the Primark ones so much I went out and bought a second pair. And I thought they were such a bargain at £1. The other day I went to a friend's and didn't realise I had the other pair already in there and wore the second pair so when I got there I had 3 pairs of sunglasses which was perfect as the other 2 girls didn't have a pair themselves!

Here I have my mp4 player&headphones(too cool for ipods;)), my keys, a flannel and a random 20p. I really love my headphones. I got them recently at Sainsbury's for half price. I like the in ear ones and normally get just poundland ones or something but they always break! Anyway, I got these one and the ear buds actually turned out to be memory foam! How cool is that! Obviously I'm not old enough to drive yet(not long left!) so I just have my house key. The kermit the frog one is my current front door and the smiley face one is for my old front door before we had the windows and everything done. Each keyring means quite a lot to me(as stupid as the sounds). The giraffe that says Holly on it was for my latest birthday off my mum. My favourite animal is a giraffe and obviously my name is Holly. The black circle with a H on was from my dad's parents as my cousins kept arguing over their keys so they bought all of us them even though me and my sister never really had that trouble haha. The star keyring my grandad got in his cracker one year and I really like stars. He didn't want it so he gave it to me so it kind of reminds me that time. And lastly, the pound thing is for like lockers and says Holly on it. Wow, that was a lot about keyrings! I have a flannel basically because I hate having a sweaty face - ew! As disgusting as it sounds to carry around with me(don't worry hasn't been used yet). It looks like it has a yellow tinge to it but it doesn't really I promise! I bought 2 so I could swap them and wash them. But yes - ew!

Next I have my purse and my 'gym purse'. My purse is from Disaster Designs and I had it for christmas this year. I really love it! As you can see it pretty much has your average money and cards in it. The picture in the little window is of my and my sister sleeping the day I was bought home from the hospital - cute! My 'gym purse' (you guessed it!) holds my gym card and my key that you use to put in the machines like a memory stick type thing. The purse is from Claire's and my mum bought it for me as she used to look after my card, but she had to change her hours in work and so I had to find my own way to the gym. I don't normally keep it in my bag as I normally just take that and not everything else but I was meant to go to the gym today but didn't unfortunately. In school time I go to the gym every Monday with my friend Naomi and not so much in holidays haha. Sorry the second photo is the flash one as the one without flash was slightly blurry.

Lastly, I have my 2 baggy things. The revlon one holds my make up and was a gift from a girl I was friends with long ago but it's the perfect size to hold everything. The butterfly bag has all my tablets and what not in there. I have something which we haven't really gotten to the bottom of yet and I won't really go into much detail about but I basically have all the medication I would need for it.

I have a mirror(gift), Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder, a puff, Avon supershock gel eyeliner, Maybelline one by one volume express mascara and nivea pearl shine. These are my basic everday make up items minus my foundation and concealer. I normally carry around my concealer as well but I haven't really been wearing foundation over the summer.

So these are all my medicines like travel sickness tablets, ginger biscuits to soothe sickness, ibuprofen and also some plasters as well.

So that's all that's in my bag! D'you think it's too much? haha
Thanks for reading!

Outfit Numero 1|Leaving Meal

Hi lovely people! So I know I said I would post about my holiday next but I thought I would do my very first outfit post before it.

On Monday one of my oldest friends had her leaving meal. I hadn't spoken to her in about oooh say 6 months? until I had a mail on Facebook in June inviting me to a meal with about 20 other people. Only 15 of us came in the end though due to people being on holiday and what not. I was a bit worried about it at first but ended up having loads of fun and catching up with people I hadn't spoken to since school finished.

We had been pretty good friends since we were 3 and have always been in school together until we had this argument in Decemeber and didn't speak until now. As you can imagine I was pretty shocked to find out that she was moving to England to go to a musical theatre college. Although, It was my stubborness that stopped us speaking, I will miss her and do hope she enjoys it and what not. Anyway, enough with the life story, on to the outfit...

I decided to go with this smart-casual (smasual?) outfit as I wasn't sure what the dress code was.

Sorry for the rubbish in the background, the smudgey mirror and the overall pretty bad photo haha but it's the only one I managed to take

If you can't tell from the picture, I basically wore black leggings, a white vest top and a wrap around turquoise/teal patterned top.

I wore it with these wedges

and this leather look jacket

Sorry I didn't get a photo of me wearing the jacket and shoes either.

Leggings - Moda at Asda
Vest Top - F&F at Tesco
Wrap Around Top - Weird Fish
Wedges - New Look
Jacket - New Look

I found the wrap around top in a village/town near to where I live. Now I don't normally go for Weird Fish as a brand as I find they're quite over priced but me and my mum had gone into a surf type shop looking for a back to school bag(weren't any - boo!) and came across this in the sale. I believe it was about £12 which isn't that bad and was in a size smaller than I normally get so I was pretty chuffed that it fitted nicely. I saw this as the perfect time to wear it!

The wedges I also found in a sale in my local New Look for £6! Thought they were a bargain as I have big feet and find it hard to find shoes that fit. However, these were the tiniest bit too small for me so at the end of the meal when I stood up to go outside, my feet were in agony! Hopefully they will stretch though haha!

This jacket is this seasons stock at New Look and is £39.99 and can be found here. You can also get it in burgandy and brown. I wouldn't normally pay that much for a jacket but my mum bought it as a present to me for helping her at work with admin stuff and I had been lusting over a leather jacket for ages! I would wear an outfit and think the only thing missing was a leather jacket. Anyone else get that? I obviously wouldn't get real leather but this feels pretty much like leather and as strong as leather so hopefully will last me a while. The fact that people's leather jackets seem to last ages justified letting my mum pay that it in my head haha. Also, I had at least 3 people at the meal say they like it or it looked nice.

Here's a picture of me and 2 of my girlies.

Hopefully you can see the top a bit better in this even if it is black and white. I wore my everday makeup with my 'speacial occasion' foundation haha. Basically my more expensive foundation that I got from Sephora so isn't easily accessible. Also, I had my hair natural with a few bits, that had to decided to go straight, curled. I put in some Tigi Love, Peace&The Planet Totally Beachin' Coconut Mango Vanilla Body&Waves Styling Mist(mouthful!) to give it more texture and make it more 'poofy'.

Face
Make Up Forever HD foundation in N115
Collection(2000) Lasting Perfection Concealer in 1 Fair
Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in 001 Transparent
MUA Mosaic Blush in English Rose(as blush and highlight)

Eyes and Lips
Avon Supershock Gel Liner in Black
Maybelline One by One Volume Express Mascara in Black
Sephora Lipgloss in Frosty White Reflex

So that was my outfit! Sorry for all the bad photos haha.
I'd love to know what you think!

Well Hello Again...

Hello lovely people!

Ok, so I haven't posted in months but I do have good reasons, promise! Well some good reasons...

Well first off I have just finished year 11 and for those of you who know (well and don't know) that's the year of the dreaded GCSE's. When I uploaded my first post I thought "I'll upload like once a week" but that clearly didn't happen! Firstly, I had coursework to complete and hand in. I took Child Development which is 60% coursework based and pretty much took up a lot of my time what with visiting the child, writing the visit up, having it checked then altering it.

My schedule during term time since the start of GCSE's looks a bit like Monday-Friday: school; Saturday: go out with friends and Sunday: do all homework/coursework. So you see I really didn't have much time free, which some of you may disagree and think I could've fitted in like half an hour here or there but I mean how many people are actually reading this? haha.

Anyway, then this took me up to exam period where all my waking hours I spent revising at home or in school. (Well at least I was meant to be haha.) I had 14 exams and the last one was on Monday 18th June. I spent the rest of the week just enjoying having nothing to do. I did contemplate blogging during that week as I had though once my exams were over I would write again but I left for Mallorca for two weeks on the Sunday and thought I may as well start after that. Then I got back and it just slipped my mind. Which is no excuse really. I have spent the past couple of weeks seeing friends, helping my mum at work and on the days where I am doing nothing, I spent the day watching Youtube videos haha. I really don't know why I didn't sooner but I guess I just thought "well no one's reading so why does it matter?" But I really do love reading blogs and lurrvveee writing as well and since it's a boring Sunday, I thought why not now, ey? I will try my best to post regularly and have some ideas of what I should write.

Phewwf! That was a big paragraph! I probably should put some pictures in of my holiday to to break it up a bit, shouldn't I? Well here goes...

mmm sandy...

Our hotel was brilliant! Would really recommend it!

Really loved these tufty umbrella things. So cute! (excuse the black dot at the corner of the picture by the way)

So I'll leave it at that for now:)

Was thinking of doing a holiday type post of what I can remember anyway haha. What d'ya think?

Sorry for all the excuses!
Holly x

So uhh well this is awkward... come here often?

I have no idea why I started this post with 'Bonjour!' haha. I'm obviously not French, in fact I'm Welsh, and I don't do French.  So I thought I'd do my first post as a sort of 'get to know me' as it were. I have no idea how many people will actually read this and be interested in it but here goes. Well like I said I'm from Wales, the south to be precise, and I'm in Year 11 studying towards my GSCEs. I took a 'get to know me tag' video idea from Youtube and decided to do it here and answer the questions obviously so let's get on with it.

Name:
Holly as you probably guessed. Not going to give my last name as I don't want any stalkers. ;)

I am a Pisces which is the fish. (What d'you call a fish with no eyes? Fsssssssh!)
Occupation:
Well at the moment I don't work but I'm hoping to find a little part time job soonish. Preferably would be in WHSmiths or Superdrug/Boots something like that. I definitely don't want to be a waitress (no offence if you are!) mainly for the reason the I have this fear that whenever I'm carrying plates of food, I'm going to fall over. :S
Hair Colour:
I am naturally blonde. (Strawberry blonde if you want to be technical. Not in the fact that i'm ginger i just have loads of shades or blonde, ginger, brown etc running through my hair.) I'm lucky in that respect and I really love my hair colour and have never dyed it or highlighted it. Always have been blonde and I get it from my Grandad so I feel like we have a connection that no one else has with me or him.
Hair Length:
Just past my shoulders. For the past 4/5 years I've always had my hair cut short, each time different lengths (shortest I went was just able to tie it up), but at one point last year I just thought 'y'know what? I'm going to grow it!' So I've decided to grow it. Not too long just long enough to do more things with it. That was a long answer for just past my shoulders!
Eye Colour:
I have green eyes which again I get off my Grandad (again with the whole connectiong thing. Is it just me who feels that?) I get my skin colour from him too, so basically, I get my colouring from my Grandad.
Best Feature:
I'm not too sure to be honest. Does this include personality? I don't feel I have the best personality, maybe I'm just hard on myself I don't know. I quite like my eyes so I'll just say my eyes.
Braces:
Nope. Never had braces and I don't need them either. However, I do hate my teeth. I find them really yellow and my toothy smile really ugly and weird but my friend Shannon always comments how straight and nice they are which always makes me feel a bit better about them haha.
Piercings:
Currently (I think I've used that word a lot in this post haha, sorry.), I have my lobes pierced twice but in the summer I'm hoping, I say hoping but I've already asked my mum and she's said yes, to get a small ring about half way up my ear. I'd love loads of other piercings like lip but it's a bit awkward at the moment with school and what not and with the job I want in the future it's not really what's the word? accessable? I don't know haha. My sister is the one who got my into all the piercing things. She has 2 on her lobes like my and her cartilage pierced twice aswell with rings. She wants loads more and will probably get them as the job she's aiming for is more flexible. Long answer haha.
Tattoos:
I don't have any as obviously I'm not old enough, but I don't think I ever will get one. I think they can be really pretty but although I have a high pain threshold I don't think I could handle the pain basically. Also, I don't like the idea of being stuck with something for all my life especially if I were to grow out of it. If I did get one, I'd get something pretty like a daisy or some sort of quote somewhere that I could easily cover up if needed.
Righty or Lefty:
I am a righty.
First...
Best Friend:

My first best friend was/is a girl called Naomi. I'm still really good friends with her now. I can tell this is going to be a long answer so get comfy haha. I've known her since she was born which was in the July after I was born so I was 5 months old when we met. Our mum's met when they were pregnant with our older sisters as they are the same age aswell and are only like 2 weeks apart. They met in an antenatal class and became friends then our dad's met and became friends and so on. We always get together as families on bank holidays and boxing day or we go out the 4 of us or me and Naomi just go out. We go the gym together so I get to see her every Monday which I love as we didn't used to get to see each other much as she goes to a different school and we have different friends etc etc. Anyway, that was my first best friend. :)
Award:
I can't really remember to be honest. I probably had like small awards but the first one I really remember was in Year 6 where I had the Diligence Award which I was so happy with (even though I had no idea what it meant haha!) But when my mum told me after I was so happy they had picked me. I remember sitting there and them describing why the person had got the award and for some reason I though 'oh my gosh this is going to be me' and it was! I don't want to sound big headed or anything but I just had this feeling. And that's one of the days that made me think I was psychic haha!
Sport:
I'm not sure. I think it may have been swimming or judo not too sure. I did judo from when I was 6 but I think I did swimming before that, again not sure. I also did swimming for about 6 years when I was young. (If you knew me you'd never have thought it!)
Holiday:
My first holiday was Pontins. If you don't know what Pontins is, it's basically a holiday park in England. There's a few over the country but we've been going there every year since I was little with the Sun Holiday offers but last year was our last year. :( I think my sister thought being 16 and 18 was too old to go to a kid's holiday park haha. But it has to be one of the best places when I was little. The first year I went was the year I was born and I won a bonnie baby competition! Basically, it was raining so my mum couldn't take us to the parks and my dad was doing a pool or snooker competition so my mum decided to take us into the main entertainment hall and see what was on. It happened to be a bonnie baby competition. I can't remember what made my mum enter me but she did. All the other babies were screaming and crying but my beautiful sister was standing next to my mum making me laugh by me just looking at her haha which made everyone go 'awwh' and made me win! We got a photo frame engraved and has a photo of me in. Sorry, long again haha. Just have a lot to say. ;)
Concert:
It was the Tweenies when I was like 7 haha. I also went to see Bear in the Big Blue House teehe. I think my first 'pop' concert was probably The Hoosiers.
Favourtie...
Film:

I have 3 which are all from different genres haha. Bridesmaids, Despicable Me and Alice in Wonderland(the Time Burton one). My favourite genre is rom coms. I do love some action films like I loved Sherlock Holmes. Also, I do love School of Rock and I have a guilty pleasure of Camp Rock haha.
Tv Show:
My ultimate favourite programme if Friends. It can always cheer me up and awh I just love it! But unfortunately it's no longer on tv:( me and my sister did go halves on the box set though! I love and watch other programmes like 90210, Hollyoaks, Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, One Tree Hill, Gilmore Girls, Waterloo Road, Desperate Housewives. I have a guilty pleasure for Jeremy Kyle aswell teehe. I have found a love for new programmes aswell like New Girl and Rules of Engagement. I pretty much just watch E4 most of the time.
Colour:
I have 3 again haha. Blue, red and silver.
Song:
I don't really have one. I have millions of songs that I love and can never get tired of. I love all the music by U2, Florence and the Machine, Muse, Mumford & Sons, Beyonce and so on. I have a bit of a guilty pleasure in Demi Lovato haha.
Restaurant:
I'm not too sure. I think I have to go plain and simple with Harvester.
Store:
I think it would have to be Superdrug haha. As sad as it is. I find it really hard to buy clothes and just get more pleasure out of buying and looking at make up etc.
Book:
I don't particularly have a favourite book but all my favourites are by the author Chris Higgins. Also, I loved the Twilight series. I'm not a twihard fan but I did really enjoy the books and felt they were well written - nothing compared to the films.
Magazine:
Glamour. I just think it's amazing for £2! I'm not really a fan of gossip mags. I mean I love reading interviews with celebs but I hate when they're like a secret source or Katy Perry's mother's brother's daughter's friend's boyfriend's aunt told us blah blah blah which I find a lot of magazines tend to be about. I think Glamour is really thick and packed with fashion, make up, articles andinterviews with celebrities. I would happily work for Glamour.
Shoes:
Well this is going to sound really embarrassing but my crocs. They aren't you're average crocs. They're trainery look a likes. Think of convereses but made my crocs. I love the look of converses and I own a few pairs (none paid full price) but the crocs are so much more comfy! In the winter I just live in them and when it rains in the summer. I live in flip flops for most of the summer though. I just buy a few cheap pairs from tesco or primark and they last all summer. I'm pretty heavy on my feet so it's not worth buying expensive pairs.
Currently...
Feeling:

Pretty lonely actually haha. This half term has been pretty much crap. But other than that I'm feeling alright.
Thinking:
About this haha.
Single or Taken:
I am single. Shocking I know ;)
Currently...
Eating:

Well I just finished eating my tea which my lovely mum made. It was Quorn chicken nuggets, peas and sweetcorn and chips. I'm not veggie but my sister is so we tend to have more veggie stuff than meat haha. Now, I am eating an orange that took forever and a day to open. It was one of those ones that have loads of pith on.
Listening to:
Rules of Engagement. I love it.
Watching:
Rules of Engagement haha.
Wearing:
Grey leggings, a red long sleeve top and a black hoody. Sounds attractive I know haha.
Children:
I would love children one day. I love children haha.
Marriage:
I would love to get married one day.
Career Goal:
I would hopefully like to become a teacher either in an Infant/Primary school or an English teacher in a secondary school. I would like to be a teacher in an infant school more though. I wouldn't mind be a journalist on the side aswell haha.
Believe in...
God:

Urrrm I'm not too sure to be honest.
Miracles:
I believe in miracles where you from you sexy thing ;) I kind of do and I kind of don't.
Love at First Sight:
I think you can like someone at first site but you have to get to know someone to fall in love with them I think.
Ghosts:
No way haha. I kind of think it's one of those things where if you believe in them then you see them/hear them.
Soul Mates:
I don't think so. Not sure why just don't really like the sound of them. Weird I know haha.
Heaven and Hell:
I think it's nice to believe that your family are up in heaven looking down on you, watching over you.
Kissing on a First Date:
Yeah why not haha.
Yourself:

Uhh not really. I don't really have much confidence and I am pretty hard on myself. I hope it will change but until then. It's not like I'm not happy in myself. I've kind of over the years learnt that I have to live with who I am and what not because it won't change so yeah.

Anyway, that's me! This was an incredibly long post and you might have noticed that I got a bit tired towards the end haha. Maybe my next one will be something more interesting and fashion/beauty/hair related or maybe just about something random haha. Hope you didn't find this too boring and would consider reading more of my things? please? haha.
Holly over and out. ;)
